  • Co-founder & Director

An experienced, creative designer, Jaimie regularly leads multi-disciplinary teams for public and private sector clients, to shape and deliver major development. His experience covers mixed-use environments (e.g. Ancoats, Manchester), town centres (Stockport Town Centre West), brownfield regeneration (Birkenhead 2040), planning for new homes (South Warrington urban extension) and design of innovative public spaces (Dock Branch Park, Birkenhead and transformation of Bootle Strand).

Jaimie studied Structural Engineering with Architecture at the University of Manchester, before quickly specialising in Urban Design, completing an MA at the University of Westminster. He started his career working with some of the leading proponents of Urban Design at Alan Baxter & Associates and EDAW (now AECOM), where he was ultimately made a Director.  He then moved on to take a similar role with BDP before becoming the national Head of Design at Turley. His most recent role was founding and leading the Manchester studio as a Director of OPEN (now SLR).

A long standing Urban Design Group ‘Recognised Practitioner’ and Academician with the Academy of Urbanism, he sits on the PlacesMatter! design review panel and is a co-founder of Common Good, a movement pushing for positive change in northern towns and cities.

  • Co-founder & Director

Andrew is a chartered Landscape Architect with over 20 years professional experience.  Naturally collaborative, he enjoys working with other disciplines to shape projects from an early stage, embedding principles to create environments which are inclusive, sustainable and encourage a positive relationship between people and nature.

His involvement continues through the design stages to ensure that early vision is realised through to the completed scheme.

Andrew's project experience spans the country across a range of different sectors (from high-density urban living to leisure and events destinations), but his main focus is urban regeneration, bringing brownfield sites back to life, rejuvenating communities and enabling development which responds to its physical and social context. His recent experience includes FEC’s 4,800 home Red Bank development, Downing’s 2000-bed co-living scheme at First Street and Queen Street Urban Park for Aberdeen City Council.

After studying for a BSc in Landscape and Ecology followed by a Diploma in Landscape Architecture, both at the University of Sheffield, Andrew worked for Landscape Architecture practices in London and Sydney in his early career. He later relocated to Manchester where he has been based for almost 20 years.  A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute since 2006, Andrew is also a qualified Building with Nature Assessor.
